Appleby College
College is very proud of its distinguished curriculum. Its goal is to prepare students for further education and life in the modern globalized world. The choice of subjects combines classical and innovative approaches to study. Critical thinking, spiritual and moral development, democratic principles together with personal fitness and health provide students with a wide range of valuable knowledge and skills. The role of gender, ethnicity, race, and culture in building rich, diverse communities is analyzed in detail. Student-centered experiences open new leadership opportunities and develop feelings of responsibility and confidence.
Technology is one of the most vivid peculiarities of the Appleby. Students and teachers actively use it in the educational process. All classrooms are equipped with internet ports and power outlets. Students` projects develop advanced IT skills and expertise.
The main aim of the Middle School Program (Grade 7 and 8) is to develop a love for learning among the students, to teach them how to work together, support each other and experience new possibilities. Small class sizes, approximately 16 students per 1 teacher, help to create a warm and supportive learning environment.
The Upper School Program (Grades 9 and 10) is focused on the academic and personal growth of students. It is time to discover their identities and strengthen their leadership qualities. Students get their experience not only from the academic program but also from the co-curricular activities that include trips and discussions.
In Senior School (Grades 11 and 12) students master vital academic and social skills and prepare for their next important educational steps. The focus is on the development of a well-rounded and successful individual.

The Residential Life Program is an important component of the Appleby college experience. It is designed to promote understanding and support. The boarding prepares students for their future university life and encourages empathy and inclusion. More than 250 students from 20 countries of the world are currently in residence.
Campus facilities create a perfect environment for learning and rest. They include the main classroom building, dining hall, arena, five playing fields, five tennis courts, three squash courts, a gymnasium, a 20-meter swimming pool, four boarding houses, and the Anglican John Bell Chapel. Students have access to various clubs, Athletics or Arts programs. In 1974 the Community Service Program was introduced. It provides students with the skills to take positive action for change and shows them the value of service in our society.
Tuition Fees offer annual, quarterly and monthly plans. For example, Day Student Type Annual Plan is 47,140 CAD for the Upper School Program. The price of the same program for the International Boarding Student Type is 77,540 (it includes tuition and boarding).
