London International Academy (LIA) is a private secondary day and boarding school located in London, Ontario. London is known in Canada as a Forest City, named so, as it is easy to guess, because of the beautiful forests surrounding the area. The town with a population close to 400,000 combines the benefits of a beautiful natural environment with the opportunities of modern urban life.

London International Academy began its history back in 2002. During the next years, the school grew into a successful and respectable educational institution. Each year, approximately 350 students from all over the world come to study here. They choose London International Academy because of its high academic standards. LIA is known for its attention and professionalism in the preparation of the students for their post-secondary education. The graduates become ready for their successful integration into the academic, social, and cultural life of Canadian and world universities. According to recent statistics, 90% of LIA graduates successfully continue their studies in top universities in Canada and the USA. The academy is especially proud of its students who were accepted to ESMOD in Paris, the New York University and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

The school is certified by the Ontario Ministry of Education and offers academic courses for students from Grade 9 to Grade 12. The graduates receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). London International Academy also provides the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) and STEM Elite Program. It is worth mentioning, that LIA offers four intakes throughout the year.

To learn more about Canada in general and the Academy in particular, the institution provides a wide range of short-term programs: Summer Courses, Summer Language Camp, STEM Camp. The University Pathway Program provides theoretical academic training in 4 main types: Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences, Business/Commerce, Life/Health Sciences, and Physical/Engineering Sciences.

The school is well-equipped. It guarantees its students places for self-study, creative studios, sports fields, platforms for games and communication, a medical room, a library, and lots of computer classes. First-class teaching stuff and small-size classes are additional benefits. London International Academy provides its international student’s with accommodation in two of the school residences. Both of them are within walking distance from the Academy. Single rooms or common rooms for 4 people are available for the choice. Residency security is guaranteed. The rooms are well-equipped and have everything students need to study and relax. A shared laundry, kitchen, and living room are open for their usage. Students dine on the school’s territory during the study days, other meals are organized. They can also buy meals in the cafeteria and café.

An option of a family homestay is also present. London International Academy administration carefully selects families for the best living experience of the students. The Academy also provides its students with bus transfers. Another service option is an airport pick-up.

The Full-year Tuition Fee is 21,200 CAD. The Eight Month International OSSD is 38,330 CAD per year, The Ten Month International IB Diploma Programme is 48,400 CAD per year. Application online is available.
