Edge School
Edge School is a private educational institution situated in Rocky View County, located to the west of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The school provides comprehensive training in various sports, including dance, golf, hockey, soccer, figure skating, basketball, and offers a flexible program for students interested in pursuing sports not currently available. The school's philosophy revolves around three key spheres - academics, athletics, and character development of students. The primary goal is to prepare students for their chosen sport's career or further education after completing their studies.
When asked about a fulfilling life, many individuals would likely mention having a lasting passion for something, maintaining physical and mental well-being, achieving work-life balance, fostering strong relationships, caring for others, and having a keen sense of morality. However, instilling such a well-rounded perspective in young individuals can prove challenging. Some schools excel in athletic training, while others focus on academic achievements, and some aim to instill higher values in their students.
Finding a school that successfully encompasses all three of these aspects without compromising any of them can be quite difficult. Often, students and their parents are forced to make a choice between them. Fortunately, Edge School families do not face this dilemma. While the school is indeed recognized for fully developing students' athletic potential, there is more to it than just hype and trophies. The school's ultimate purpose is to channel students' passion for sports into an equally compelling passion for learning, leadership, and personal integrity.
