Royal Roads University was founded as a public applied research university in 1995. Royal Roads University is a university that offers a unique post-secondary education paradigm. Royal Roads University's campus covers 260 hectares. There are many walking paths, climbing trails, a lake, and much more. Hatley Castle is located in the heart of the campus.  The campus is encircled by the flora and fauna, as well as a gorgeous Japanese garden and a stunning castle. On this campus, every view is worth seeing. Visitors can also go to the Olympic Garden, which is a few kilometres away from the campus. It stretches from Canada to the United States.

 

The university offers students on-campus cheap, convenient, and comfortable facilities. This service is only available to students for a limited time. Students enrolled in full-time programs must live off-campus for the duration of their studies. There are just two weeks of temporary campus housing available. Accommodations are available in the Millward and Nixon buildings, which are located in the heart of the Colwood campus. Depending on needs, students and guests can choose from a variety of possibilities. There are single and double private rooms available, as well as dormitory-style units with communal restrooms.

 

The Habitat Café, which is located close, serves food seven days a week. Coffee machines, refrigerators, toasters, microwaves, kettles, and cutlery are available in the residence lounges. Programs in Royal Roads University

There are 23 graduate programs, 13 graduate diploma programs, 28 graduate certificate programs, and ten undergraduate programs. Because some of the programs build on one another, you can continue your education at any level. You can follow one of these paths:

  • take further courses after obtaining a graduate certificate to achieve a graduate diploma
  • credits from your graduate diploma can be applied to a master’s degree.
  • obtain a bachelor’s degree before continuing the graduate school at Royal Roads or elsewhere in the world.

 

If you have been conditionally accepted to a degree program at Royal Roads University but do not fulfil the English language requirement you can pursue an International Pathway Program, which is designed to help students enhance their English language, academic, and critical thinking skills.

If you want to work after graduating from the university, you can apply for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) in Canada. within 180 days of getting one of the documents (a transcript, a degree/diploma, or an official letter from your university).

 

After working in Canada at least one year, you can apply for the Canadian Experience Class or the Provincial Nominee Program if you wish to move to Canada and become a permanent resident. You must satisfy the following criteria for the first program:

To apply for this program, you must first decide where you want to live in Canada and then submit an application for nomination in that province or territory. They'll evaluate your application based on two factors: their immigration requirements and whether you truly wish to stay in the region.

 

You must apply for permanent residency after being nominated by a province or territory (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). Your application will be evaluated in accordance with Canadian immigration laws.
