The college was established in 1965 in Ontario and was initially known as a Vocational Centre of the province. Currently Sault College offers a number of undergraduate and graduate programs on full and part-time basis, including apprenticeships, continuing education and adult retraining programs. Every year more than four thousand students are enrolled in the college. It attracts more and more international and local students year by year as Sault College is always upgrading its campuses adding modern facilities for the benefit of the students. Sault College is known for its excellent Aviation programs. For instance, there is a full-time program in Aviation Technology, which leads to the Advanced Diploma.
