The University is multicultural and has students from 164 states. The sum of tuition you pay is determined by a variety of criteria, including your program and year of study, class schedule, and campus. While the precise tuition costs for every academic year are usually set in the spring (thus, fees for 2022-2023 academic year will be determined in Spring 2022), you may get an estimate of how much you will spend in tuition by looking at the previous year's rates. As was mentioned above, that in addition to tuition the fees overall comprise of incidental and ancillary fees. Incidental fees include, but are not limited to payments for student societies, sports, entertainment facilities, campus-based services and health care. The majority of these fees are mandatory, however you will be able to opt out of a small number of them. For instance, the approximate cost or incidental fees in 2021 – 2022 was $1886.

Ancillary fees are charges for items not included in the main course, for example charges for services, materials or licenses where the University performs as a broker with a supplier on behalf of students;  publications; thematic papers; lab handbooks; field expeditions; garments, supplies, that afterward become student’s property; products and/or services provided for students for their own use; fees for diverse kinds of non-remedial instruction; library fines etc. These fees depend on the program you choose. For instance, for International Dentist Advanced Placement Program (IDAPP) cost recovery ancillary fees were $101 in 2020 – 2021, while for Master of Financial Risk Management (MFRM) ancillary fees were $1,155.

Another point of expenditure is the residence fee, which includes accommodation fee, meal plan fee, residence council fee. Residence fees for the 2021 - 2022 academic year vary between approximately $15000 to $16500, determined by room choice and food package. For instance, living in Whitney Hall, Single Room cost $15,514.00 with a meal plan last year. All full-time students who are starting their first year in an undergraduate degree are guaranteed housing.

There are more than 700 undergraduate programs and 200 graduate programs throughout three campuses. University of Toronto :Application requirements

There is a number of requirements for international applicants. First of all, you have to check International Admission Requirements and discover your minimal requirements choosing the country you are studying now. Secondly, you need to find the program you wish to choose, because there can be some specific requirements for different programs.

Conditional offers will be made built on your previous year's grades as well as, if applicable, your in-term or mid-term scores.   If you do not meet the requirements based on your interim scores, it is doubtful that the University will be able to reevaluate your application once final marks are available; nevertheless, if a place in the program of your interest becomes vacant, the University can reassess your application.

You must submit evidence of appropriate English proficiency if English is not your first language, if you are not eligible for an exception.

If you must show proof of English language proficiency, you can do so by passing one of the exams indicated in the list with satisfactory results.

You may be eligible for one of English Language Transition Programs of the University if you meet the admission and requirements of the program you choose but not the University's English Language Requirements.

Deadlines for applications vary depending on the Program: for international applicants, final deadlines are January for the majority of programs, February for Medical Radiation Sciences and May for Bachelor of Information. We strongly advise you to complete your application, along with the required application fee, and your supporting documentation, far ahead of the deadlines, since spots are limited. Between late January and late May, admissions decisions are made public.
