Accommodation 

University of Windsor has three halls of residence, each having its own peculiarities.

The first one is called Alumni Hall, it’s a five storey building where more than 300 students live in the suites. Each suite contains two private bedrooms, a shared washing room and kitchen.

Another dormitory is called Cartier Hall where students of the first year reside. Each room here is shared by two students, while the washing room is shared by four students.

Another Hall of Residence is called Laurier Hall, it has ten floors with the kitchen on the lower floor and microwave rooms on each of them. Students can live in the private rooms there, which are also equipped with a mini fridge, a desk, a closet and wifi. Students can relax or study in the shared lounge and study rooms.

The first dorm - the Alumni Hall is the most expensive to reside in, it costs about $8600 for an academic year, the cost of the second and thirds halls are a thousand dollars less, which is approximately $7700. Living in the Halls of Residence it is obligatory to buy meal plans, which means that you can have a meal cooked for you in the dining room. It can be quite useful if you are not into cooking yourself. With all the extra time, you may dedicate more energy to your studies or hobbies.

International Students 

International students are to pay around $28000 if they want to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics during the full time studies. This price includes health insurance, tuition fees and other payments necessary for an international students to make. The Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science would cost less - around $20000, including health insurance, recreation fees, bus pass etc. After graduating an international student may decide to get a permanent resident in Ontario, which can be done through Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program, if they meet all the enlisted criteria.
