The University of Winnipeg Collegiate has developed its Code of Conduct that builds a very special learning environment. Each member of the UWC community shares responsibilities, duties, and obligations that are an important basis of Collegiate life.

The main aim of the University of Winnipeg Collegiate is to equip its graduates for life-long success. The courses and programs are designed to correspond to the challenges of the modern world. The UWC curriculum is based on the standards of the Manitoba Ministry of Education. The duration of the academic year is synchronized with the University of Winnipeg so that students could feel the atmosphere of the real university life.

The Collegiate offers its students a wide range of programs, that include dual credits or accelerated course opportunities. Art plays a significant role in the life of the community. The Collegiate partners like the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre help students to explore concepts through performance art. Located on Campus, The Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts coexists harmoniously with the Collegiate, providing students with unique musical opportunities and creative inspiration.

The University of Winnipeg Collegiate is proud of its graduates. Many of them enter respectable universities in Canada and other countries: the University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, University of Toronto, Harvard University, Princeton University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Yale University, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge and others.
