This Public College of Technology and Advanced Learning was established in 1967 in the city of Kitchener in the province of Ontario, but it’s not its only campus. Conestoga College has campuses in Guelph, Waterloo, Cambridge and other places in the province. Currently more than eleven thousand full-time and thirty thousand part-time students are enrolled in the post-secondary education programs offered by the College. 

Programs

Conestoga College is ranked among the best Ontario educational institutions of higher education, attracting a big number of international students all around the world. The college offers more than 230 various programs available to international students, which lead to diplomas, degrees and certificates in the fields of Culinary Arts, Engineering and Technology, Community Services, Health and Life Sciences and others. In the area of Applied Computer Science and Information Technology, which is one of the most popular nowadays, Conestoga College offers the following programs on the undergraduate level: Bachelor of Applied Health Information Science, Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Programing, Computer Programming and Analysis, Computer Systems Technician, IT Innovation and Design, Network Technical Support, Software Engineering Technician and Web Development and Internet Applications. For example, the program of Computer Programming lasts for two years and leads to a college diploma as an academic credential. During the program of Conestoga College, international students learn object-oriented analysis, different programming languages and software development for business and other purposes. For example, the program of Broadcasting - TV and Independent Production offered by Conestoga College is a perfect place for everyone, who is enthusiastic about telling stories in the visual form, through movies and videos. The program of Conestoga College aims at teaching a student not only how to shoot and produce films, write and perform content, but also sound design and post-production. During the program of Conestoga College, students learn about multi-camera production and utilize professional lighting in the special college labs, equipped with HD-cameras and other state-of-the-art facilities. The program of Journalism at the College also leads to a college diploma, consequently lasts for two academic years. Accommodation 

While studying at Conestoga College, an international student can rent a flat or live in a residence, offered to the students of the college. 

The Conestoga College residence is built in such a way that it’s equipped with all the necessary facilities for students to feel at home and safe. Such an atmosphere is supposed to encourage students to dedicate their time to studying and developing their skills rather than pondering over utility bills and finding the ways to fix a sink. The College residence building is located very close to the college campus, where students attend classes. As for the rooms, Conestoga College offers students two types: dorm style and apartment style ones. The first type features a kitchenette and a bathroom shared by two students, just as well as a bedroom with a half wall dividing it. Students who wish to live in an apartment-style room have two private bedrooms, while a kitchenette and a bathroom are shared. They also have a TV and Wi-Fi inside every apartment.
