Saskatoon is the largest city in the province, with more than 266 citizens according to the 2021 census. The average rent price of a one-bedroom in this city is around $990 per month.

Another option is living in one of the University of Saskatchewan residences, which are located within walking distance of the classes. They may as well come back to their home country and start a successful career path with all the knowledge and experience gained at the University of Saskatchewan. But many international students choose Canada as a place to obtain higher education because this country fosters the immigration of talented and educated foreign citizens. Here, international graduates of the University of Saskatchewan have a chance to get a post-graduation work permit, which, as is clear from its name, allows foreign graduates of Canadian educational establishments to work in Canada for up to three years.
